Project #1 Kids Clothes Week Done

I like the style of this pinafore but think the fabric 

may be a little too babyish for my 6 year old.

Next time I think I will use a plain fabric like denim or chambray.

Pattern: A Sunny Spot - Pattern D (12)

The night before Kids Clothes Week I spent an hour or so 

finding all my pattern pieces and tracing them out.

I decided to go with this cute pinafore. It is an ideal piece for Summer or Winter. 

I used the same fabric as I did for my last project (see here) 

In my first hour I managed to get through the majority of this dress/top.

Thinking that it looks pretty cute,

and hoping it's not too babyish for a 6 year old :/

 We will see.
